Overview

 

The Clinical Supervisor will play a key role in our organization by supporting the delivery of high-quality care. You will be responsible for achieving quality goals and for helping to implement new clinical protocols and initiatives. You will serve as a role model, reflecting the organization’s treatment philosophy, goals and policies to colleagues and members. The Clinical Supervisor will manage a team of 6-10 counselors across multiple offices.  This role reports to the State Director and collaborates closely with the Regional Manager, Clinical Director and Director of Quality and Compliance.

 

  • Salary Range: $69,611 - $97,429/ year *Based on experience, education and licensure. 
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-5p EST - some additional hours as needed (on call 1x per 11 weeks)
  • Region Coverage: This role will cover our Kokomo, Lafayette and LaPorte offices and the candidate must reside in Northern Indiana

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Clinical Leadership & Oversight

    • Clinical Supervision: Lead and coach individual and group supervision to develop counselor skills, manage complex cases, and ensure adherence to clinical policies.
    • Direct Oversight: Provide regular in-person clinical support and coverage for counseling staff as needed.
    • Performance Management: Drive member outcomes by managing counselor performance, conducting reviews, and addressing HR issues.
    • Talent Selection, Onboarding & Training: Participate in the interview and selection process for new counselors and deliver structured onboarding to ensure staff embody Groups values and treatment model.

    Operations & Quality Assurance

    • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Regional Director to optimize day-to-day operations and deliver high-quality care.
    • Quality & Compliance: Conduct quarterly chart reviews, lead audit preparations, and participate in quality/compliance initiatives.
    • KPI Accountability: Take ownership of regional clinical outcomes and KPIs, identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
    • New Initiatives: Support the rollout of new clinical protocols, product offerings, and site launches, serving as a clinical subject matter expert.

    Community & Representation

    • Community Presence: Establish the organization as a respected local leader through outreach, events, and demand generation.
    • Clinical Advocacy: Represent the organization in professional meetings and community events as the clinical lead and support various organizational initiatives as they arise.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Travel Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and personal transportation for up to 50% travel to Kokomo, Lafayette, and LaPorte offices. Must reside in Northern Indiana to provide regional support.
  • Licensure & Education: Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health field with an independent Indiana license (LCAC, LCSW, or LMHC).
  • Clinical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in addiction or behavioral health at high-quality, reputable organizations.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing diverse teams and hiring top talent across clinical and non-clinical roles.
  • Management Ambition: A strong desire to transition into general management and lead operations beyond direct clinical work.
  • Operational Savvy: Experience with multi-site healthcare organizations and an understanding of how to run medical practices at scale.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively lead large, dispersed teams and represent the organization to external stakeholders.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the local Northern Indiana addiction space, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Proof of annual TB status and completion of a mandatory health questionnaire upon hire.
  • Professional Standards: Extremely high standards for self and team performance.
