Salary Range: $43,000.00 / yr to $46,000.00 / yr
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 7:00pm
This role requires applicants to have completed, or are in progress of completing, the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy in New Hampshire.
a. Be an individual in long-term recovery or a recovery ally, and
b. Complete the 30-hour Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) training
Recovery Coaches who are themselves in long-term recovery are encouraged and preferred, as their life experiences and recovery allow them to provide recovery support in such a way that others can benefit from their experiences.
At Groups, the Recovery Support Specialist works closely with existing members to provide recovery support services. The Recovery Support Specialist is a vital part of the treatment team: they provide assistance with Health Related Social Needs, coordinate care internally and externally, help navigate applications, and support the member’s overall wellness during their recovery journey at Groups. The Recovery Support Specialist works with members who have complex social, medical, and mental health needs. This role reports to the Associate Recovery Support Supervisor or Recovery Support Supervisor depending on the state.
