Overview

The Vice President, Human Resources leads the strategic direction and administration of the HR function, covering all areas including HR Operations/HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, and Employee Experience. This role is pivotal in driving initiatives for hiring, retaining, and enhancing the employee experience while aligning HR strategies with the company’s objectives and Total Rewards Philosophy. The ideal candidate is a strong leader and self-starter, exemplifying the organization’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership to drive employee acquisition, engagement, and performance initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Employee Relations, and Employee Experience, including Learning & Development and Total Rewards.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to analyze retention, engagement, and talent strategies.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and total rewards processes.
  • Foster a flexible, high-urgency, customer-focused organizational culture.
  • Educate leadership on Total Rewards and adapt initiatives to workforce trends.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop strategies to increase employee engagement, retention, and productivity, enhancing career pathing and leadership development.
  • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and culture development.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and manage training program evaluation.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of HR leadership experience, demonstrating successful execution of key responsibilities.
  • BS/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • HRCI and/or SHRM certification required.
  • Proven expertise in talent acquisition and management across multi-site/multi-state organizations.
  • Experience leading an HR department through substantial growth.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS/HCM systems (preferably ADP).
  • Experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
